work experience and educational background.
It also highlights the course work I completed during my Master in Cybersecurity at the
University of Essex, showcasing key projects, tasks completed, my thesis and
the skills acquired throughout my studies.
A Kenyan currently residing in France, I embody a diverse cultural background.
Fluent in English and with intermediate/ conversational proficiency in French, I thrive on embracing new cultures, environments and experiences.
My academic journey includes a Master's in Cyber Security from the University of Essex,
complemented by a Diploma and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).
Currently, I recently finalised my thesis, with a focus on: Enhancing Authentication Security: A Python-Based System for Brute Force Attack Prevention.
Upon completion of the thesis, I am expecting to be awarded a Master in Cybersecurity from the University of Essex in September 2025.
Over the past years, I have gained dynamic and versatile experience in the IT field— ranging from technical support and software development to network/system administration and sales.
Each role has presented unique challenges and learning opportunities, allowing me to grow both personally and professionally.

Solid technical expertise in handling both software and hardware: including Microsoft Office Packages (365), Computer hardware troubleshooting, software installation, working with Windows, Linux (Ubuntu), and macOS operating systems, etc.
Strong team player with the ability to communicate complex information effectively and lead training sessions, while staying focused on achieving team goals and driving outstanding results.
Basic to Intermediate coding skills in HTML, CSS, Python, MySQL, Django, Docker, GitHub, Visual Studio code, Android Programming, Java languages. Experience in project management using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Performing Administrator duties on Windows and messaging Servers: including network installation, expansion and troubleshooting, Active Directory management (user and device management, access control set-up), data backup, software deployment, remote viewing (using AnyDesk, teamviewer, etc), PowerShell scripting, Wi-Fi set-up, network security. Managing messaging systems such as G-Suite, MDaemon, and Microsoft Exchange.
Exceptional time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines while adapting swiftly to changes in fast-paced environments.
Perfoming tests and assessments to identify system vulnerabilities, with a focus on mitigation strategies to minimize cyber risks and threats.
